Blush Girl’s Goals
Blush Girl Salon needed a website that communicated who they are and what they do.
It needed to optimize the customer booking experience while also maintaining their unique branding.
A shared Journey
We worked closely with Lauren, the owner of Blush Girl, to plan and create the look and functionality of her new website. Our Initial session with Lauren was all we needed to get started!
We settled on the look and feel of the website by presenting her with a variety of options in a mood board, and invited her to help draw up a rough wireframe of the entire site with one of our designers.
A streamlined booking experience
Taking lengthy booking inquiry calls proved to be one of Blush Girl’s biggest challenges. Lauren needed this process to be streamlined so that her staff could spend more time with the customers in the salon, and less time on the phone.
To solve this problem, we created a booking inquiry form that new and existing customers could submit online. In this form, they could specify which service they required, whether they had been to Blush Girl before, who their preferred stylist was and more. We created this form in such a way that it was completely customizable, allowing Lauren to make adjustments to it later.
When it comes to creating a new website, we like to emphasize the importance of responsive design.
Mobile devices cannot be treated as an afterthought. We needed to make sure that Blush Girl’s clients could easily achieve their goal of making a booking, regardless of the device they are using.
Lauren’s customer can now quickly book their next appointment with ease on their mobile devices.
They really understood Blush Girl, our brand, and have created a website that fits in with everything we do here. It has really helped to boost our bookings and keep us really busy!
The Blush Girl experience
Lauren wanted her new website to represent Blush Girl’s values. It needed to be empowering, on-trend, individual, and highlight the level of professionalism and care Blush Girl takes with its customers.
For some, the website would be the first point of contact. First impressions are important, so the design of Blush Girl needed to make the customer feel welcome, guide them on their journey towards making a booking, while also leaving a lasting impression.
