Why does my website need your protection?

Our DN Protect plans save you time administering one of your businesses most valuable assets. They are designed to provide the peace of mind that comes with knowing your website is in safe hands and running smoothly.

We can not only help you maintain your website, but provide you with the tools and knowledge to help you grow your business online.

What type of content updates will you do?

The inclusion of content update time is to take care of adhoc website updates on your behalf and can include adding a new page, updating copy, adding blog posts, adding images, adding a contact form, small design improvements, or pretty much anything else that can be handled within the time allocation for your plan.

We’ll make sure your content updates conform to SEO best practice, that any links are applied correctly, we also keep an eye on layout issues (particularly across different browser sizes), and we provide an extra pair of eyes to avoid embarrassing content errors.

If you need more time than your monthly plan includes, you can purchase additional blocks of time as needed. For larger project updates we can quote on a case-by-case basis.

Does my monthly content time rollover?

Content time is there for you to use on your website every month. It reserves your place in our queue and our resources, therefore time does not rollover for our care plans.

You can take comfort in the fact that requests will usually be addressed by our team within a 48hr period.

What happens if my website goes down, or is hacked?

The purpose of our website care plans is preventative care, so the processes in place (including security scanning, uptime monitoring and performance scans) will help prevent anything from happening.

However, in the event of a serious issue we will be able to catch problems quickly and be on hand to help find a solution (including working with your web host on your behalf).

We cannot promise your website will not be hacked. No website is 100% hack-proof. But we can promise you we will do everything in our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of your website with one of our regular backups.

What happens after I sign up?

You’ll receive an email with your order receipt. If we didn’t create your website, you’ll also receive a form to securely provide your website access information (including your Website Admin and Hosting Access details) so we can begin auditing your site(s) as part of the on-boarding process.

Once on-boarding is complete, you’ll receive a welcome email with more details about your account, and instructions for sending task requests.

You can then sit back with the peace of mind that your website is being cared for and you have a go-to resource for website updates and progressive enhancement.

Why is there a setup fee?

The setup fee allows us to onboard your website to our system, perform an initial security check, as well as undertake an initial update of your WordPress Core files and Plugins.

The outcome of this process will either be a clean website with up-to-date files and plugins, or where issues arise from this process a quote will be provided to bring your website in-line with the latest software and plugin files so that your WordPress website is current, clean, and functional from the get-go.

How do I send support requests?

Send us an email at [email protected] and your request will be placed directly in our queue. You will receive a response via email to confirm your request has landed at DN and a team member will then be in contact with you directly within 1 business day, if not sooner.

What are your business hours and response times?

We will ensure that all communication will be promptly replied to, if not immediately then within 24 hours.

We will pre-inform you of any relevant team absences with at least 12 hours notice.

We will be available from 8 am – 6 pm Mon – Fri via phone, email, Skype and/or in person.

What happens if I cancel my website care plan?

We will be sad to say goodbye! But we’ll also provide any information you need to transition smoothly to another developer.

We’ll also transfer billing for hosting and email automation services back to you (if and where applicable).

What's included within the quarterly report?

Our reports will provide you with details on the updates that have occurred during the period (WordPress Core, Plugins and Themes), your website uptime, backups, website security and page speed/performance.
