With the recent release of Apple Watch Series 5 and WatchOS 6, Apple have introduced a ton of cool new watch faces but still no third party ones! I still haven’t had the chance to create something for smartwatches but it’ll happen, I’m sure.
I’ve decided to make a top 10 list of the best watch face designs created by the design community on Dribbble.
1) The classic Braun watch face
It’s so clean, so slick, I could lick it. Braun watches were always my favourite, I like minimalism.
2) Clean & Deep
I long for skeaumorphic iOS design of old, I hope it makes a return on WatchOS one day, it’s perfect for a watch interface.
3) Upperclass Brunch
Classy and stylish. I picture someone rocking this with a really nice purse, having expensive brunch.
4) Retro Alarm
Simple with the old digital alarm clock charm. Love it.
5) Walking On The Moon
I just would feel like an astronaut rocking this.
6) Nerd!
I always wanted a Casio calculator watch as a kid but never got one.
7) Cute
Kind of hard to read but it’s really cute!
8) Word.
We need a word clock!
9) Mario
I need this, I’m a man child. I hope he jumps and hit the box when each number changes.
10) Space… the final frontier
This one may be my favourite, space is fascinating.
