Seven hours of downtempo beats featuring Portishead, Tricky and Massive Attack. This genre originated in Bristol during the 1990s and still sounds fresh af, although it may just sound fresh to me because I was listening to The Wiggles in the 90s.
Lofi Hip Hop music
A staple playlist for anybody who undertook a tertiary education in the last ten years. These vocal-free beats will keep your mind moving, but may also induce PTSD if you used to pull all-nighters.
All Out 80s
This playlist might have you breaking out in ballads, so it’s probably not ideal for high concentration work. Excellent for waking yourself up on a Monday morning or seeing the week out on a Friday afternoon though.
Binaural Beats: Focus
The playlist description claims to “Enhance your concentration by travelling through different brainwave frequencies until you reach peak awareness in Gamma state”. Lol, I don’t know. My boss listens to it and he seems to concentrate a lot so it must be alright.
Tranquility
Soft piano and strings to ease your mind and help you focus on the task at hand!
Sufjan Stevens, you fucking sad bitch
A nice melancholic playlist featuring the heavenly vocals of Sufjan Stevens. An excellent choice for when you’re looking to take it slow, you fucking sad bitch.
