There was an endless supply of crazy tech and gadgets unveiled at CES 2019, here are some of the coolest ones.

Rollable 65″ OLED TV from LG

‘Rolling’ out later this year, a slick 65″ OLED panel that rolls out from a cabinet like stand. It’s really cool but I’m just wondering how long it will be before it breaks and you miss that important episode of Home & Away.

A Rolling Robot That Looks After Your Grand Mama from Samsung

Samsung will ship a robot that can follow you or  your grand parents around, make sure they take their medication, check their blood pressure and call the ambos when they fall over. It’s just like that movie Robot & Frank…

The Y-Brush Cleans Your Teeth In 10 Seconds

Doesn’t it already take that long to clean your teeth? Anyway this thing will guarantee your mouth is clean in 10 seconds flat. It uses vibration to make sure your teeth and everything in between is spotless, so they say.

Capsule-Based Craft Beer Machine

If you’re too lazy to walk down to the bottle-o, you can brew your own beer at home Nespresso style! The catch is it’ll take 2 weeks to brew and you need 3 pods instead of 1, for malt, yeast, hop oil and flavouring. Let’s just hope it tastes as good as the beers on tap at the pub.

Portable USB-C Monitors

This one is really exciting for me as someone who uses external displays in my work setup, not so much the portable aspect but the power aspect. You’ll no longer need a wall outlet for each monitor. Everything is powered through one USB-C cable, and on top of that data transfer also, if the monitor has USB or SD cards ports. I don’t how portable they actually are though, the one below is from LG and it’s 27″. Good luck carrying that around, if only they made this rollable too…
