In this podcast:
Movember • Men’s Health • Culture • Pause Fest • Charity
Earlier in the year, I sat down at Pause Fest with Sam Gledhill and Marcus Nance to chat about all things Movember. Sam is the Global Director of Testicular Cancer at the organisation, and Marcus Nance is a Delivery Lead. If you have been under a rock for the past 20 or so years and not heard of Movember, it is an organisation committed to supporting those diagnosed with prostate and testicular cancer, as well as aiming to change the face of men’s mental health. They were pioneers in the peer-to-peer space, mobilising communities across the globe by getting men to grow moustaches to raise awareness.
Sam and Marcus were speaking at Pause about culture and how a strong cultural DNA can help drive a business well into the future. We discussed how the business has grown and matured into a multinational organisation with huge goals and how the Movember community are at the heart of everything they do. We also dive into some of the new technology that Marcus has been championing.
This month the whole Digital Noir team are partaking in Movember – growing mo’s and walking to raise awareness. If you enjoy this chat we would love if you can help all the Mo Brothers and Sisters around the world and donate a few dollars for a great cause!
