We first met Julia as a part of the 2018 Telstra Business Awards. She was heading up the PR team and we were blown away with the quality of communications around the whole awards and events. We were lucky enough to sit down with her whilst we were podcasting LIVE from Pausefest 2019. We chatted about what it means to be a marketer in 2019, how small business can benefit from PR and the importance of strategy in telling stories.
Julia has 10 years experience delivering strategic communications and public relations for some of Australia’s largest and most recognisable brands, including Telstra, ExxonMobil, Commonwealth Bank, Western Union and AGL.
She understands – and is passionate about sharing – how PR, marketing and communications sit within the broader context of a business and their role in driving the health of a brand, and therefore long-term commercial success.
